iCISA aims at providing a balanced mix of knowledge and skill development methodologies
and the participants are encouraged to avail themselves of the varied learning opportunities
that are available at the Institute. The class room delivery consists of lectures,
panel discussions, group discussions, hands on practices, and interactive sessions.
Emphasis is given on case studies in audit - both Indian and international, which
are presented by the person who has conducted the audit. Field visits are also organised
to provide practical perspective to the participants.

The faculty for the International Training Programmes is drawn from the SAI of India
and various Government Departments as well as a large number of specialised institutions.
Every faculty is a practitioner in the fields for which he/she is invited to take
a session. A rigorous and continuous quality monitoring of faculty performance is
in place.

Country Papers are a useful media for the participants to learn about audit practices
of different countries. The presentations on Country Papers are handled exclusively
by the participants concerned without any other intervention and questions are encouraged
from a peer point of view. The outline and desired content of the country papers
is appended to each of the course description later in this brochure

Apart from several books on the subject, participants are also given a CD of all
the presentations, lectures, Country Papers and other relevant materials for their
future reference

Field visits are considered to be an integral part of the training imparted at iCISA.
The place of visit is dependent on the subject of the training and normally takes
place outside Delhi.
