Under ITEC/SCAAP/CP
Scholarship schemes:
These programmes are open to nominees of the Supreme Audit Institutions/
Departments of the Government who are sponsored by their respective Governments.
Sponsoring organisations may please note the following details while nominating
a candidate to these programmes:-
• The requisite forms are available with the Embassy/Mission of India in your country.
These can also be downloaded from the site www.mea.gov.in (link itec) or http://itec.nic.in
• Three copies of nomination with application form for fund assistance may be sent
to the Indian Embassy/ High Commission, who will forward two copies to the Ministry
of External AffairsMinistry of Finance (Department of Economic Affairs), Government
of India, whose approval is necessary for funding in each case
• If an SAI sponsors more than one candidate, the nominations must be listed in
the order of preference, failing which, the senior most from among those nominated
would be selected
• A copy of the nominations may be sent to the Director General, International Centre
for Information Systems and Audit (iCISA), A-52, Sector 62, Institutional Area,
NOIDA-201301, U.P. India (Fax Nos. 00-91-120-2400041 and 0091-120-2401430), e-mail:
icisaadmn@icisacag.com.
• The nominations may invariably be sent at least 90 days before the beginning of
the course to ensure adequate time for processing and visa formalities
• The Director General, iCISA will convey the acceptance of suitable participants
to the concerned Indian Embassy/High Commission th ough the Ministry of External
Affairs/Ministry of Finance for releasing the funds assistance. Intimation will
also be sent to the sponsoring organisation as well as to the selected candidate
• If for certain unavoidable reason, a selected candidate is unable to join the
programme, he/she as well as the sponsoring organisation must inform iCISA well
in time, as otherwise the slot will go unutilised
Under Self Financing Scheme :
The candidates for whom the aforementioned scholarships are
not available can apply under the Self Financing Scheme (SFS).
Participants
would have to pay a sum of US $ 2000 for
boarding, lodging and travel cost for local study tour.
The airfare on their to and fro journey is to be borne by the sponsoring
organisation. No course fee will be
charged from SFS candidates.
