The International Centre for Information Systems and Audit (iCISA),is the International
Training Centre of the Comptroller & Auditor General of India, became functional
from April 2002. It conducts training programmes for audit professionals from Supreme
Audit Institutions all over the world in different areas of auditing. Besides, it
also imparts professional training to officers of the Indian Audit & Accounts
Department..

In September 2003 ICISA acquired ISO 9001 :2000 Certificate for Quality Management
System relating to training. It also acquired ISO 27001 certification for Information
Systems Security in July 2006. The sprawling institution, covering more than 40,000
square meters, is a self contained campus located in the sylvan surroundings of
Noida, a suburb in the outskirts of the city of Delhi. The campus comprises of centrally
air conditioned Academic and Hostel Blocks and is designed to take care of all the
needs of the trainees. The Academic Block comprises of lecture and seminar halls,
a conference hall with sound recording and interpretation facilities, EDP labs,
a well stocked library, and a documentation centre; it also houses the administrative
offices of the Centre. The Hostel Block comprises of 39 single rooms, 15 double
rooms, and 8 suites/deluxe rooms with attached bath rooms. While in most cases participants
are provided single occupancy air-conditioned accommodation with attached bath during
their stay in iCISA, in some instances the accommodation could be on a twin sharing
basis. There is a spacious dining hall and a kitchen where food is prepared
and served under strict hygienic standards. A choice of different cuisines is available
to suit different tastes.
Facilities available to the participants residing at ICISA during training include:
• Solar-heated Swimming Pool and a well equipped Gymnasium
• Air-conditioned bus service to the city centre twice a week in the evening
• Use of the Library and 24X7 hjgh speed internet facilities
• Use of other recreational and sports facilities like Billiards, Table Tennis,
Badminton, Chess, Lawn Tennis
• Television in each room with more than 100 channels
• More than 500 audio CDs with sophisticated music system
• A spacious auditorium for screening films from an in house VCD/DVD library of
over 200 movies
• Classes on "Yoga", an ancient Indian tradition to promote mental and physical
health.
• Funding of these Programmes are by the Government of India under its various scholarship
schemes. Participants from countries not covered under any of these schemes may
apply under the Self Funding Scheme (SFS). Details of these schemes are as follows:
i. ITEC/SCAAP of the Ministry of External Affairs Indian Technical and Economic
Co-operation Programme (ITEC) Special Commonwealth African Assistance Plan (SCAAP)
International Training 2008-2009.
